Letter to German Ambassador to the U.S. about the German government's latest findings on Scientology and other recent official vindications

Mr. Ambassador:

I am writing to bring to your attention the response of the German federal government to a “Minor Enquiry”, mostly about Scientology, submitted in October by a group of CDU and CSU MPs.

The federal German government has now answered the questions. The answers are of great interest, because they are the official vindication for which the Church of Scientology in Germany has had to wait for a long time. Had the Kohl administration conceded these points many years ago, Germany would have been saved the expense of many fruitless investigations, not to mention the harm suffered by the people whenever the Constitution is violated by elected officials.

Through its answers, the government has declared that the Church of Scientology and its members:

Obey the law.1
