GERMAN GOVERNMENT: The government has made derogatory claims about the effect of Scientology membership on individuals.

FACT: There is no evidence and no objective studies to support these claims. And this is confirmed by the personal statements of millions of Scientologists themselves.

GERMAN GOVERNMENT: The government has made claims concerning alleged political aims of Scientology.

FACT: Scientology has no political aims. The non-political character of Scientology is plainly stated throughout Scientology literature. The German government’s own security service has admitted to finding no evidence of political activity by the Church of Scientology.
